Marcie Drury Brown; M.D., M.C.R .

Dr. Brown is currently a practicing pediatric endocrinologist with Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and other affiliated area hospitals in Portland, OR. Earlier, she was an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Wake Forest University Health Sciences in Winston-Salem, NC. As a member of the pediatric diabetes and endocrinology team her clinical interests are focused on childhood diabetes and endocrinology issues. Dr. Drury Brown consults with other pediatric specialists in the Piedmont Triad area on how to best treat children with obesity-related diseases. Earlier, she was a Pediatric Hospitalist at Legacy Emanuel Children's Hospital in Portland, OR. Dr. Drury Brown holds a M.D. degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA, a M.C.R. (Masters of Clinical Research) from Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, OR., and a B.S. degree with highest honors in Biology from Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, MD. She received both Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship training from the Oregon Health & Sciences University. Dr. Drury Brown is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
