Frederick J. Davis, MBA, A.B.; {In Memorial}

Mr. Davis recently passed away after a lengthy illness. He was instrumental in the early development and founding of N.C.O.F.®. Mr. Davis served as a consultant to N.C.O.F.® in the areas of donor/sponsor development and overall fundraising. He was the Development Director for the Plummer Home for Boys in Salem, MA. He served as a corporate executive at State Street Bank and in many non-profit leadership positions. Mr. Davis applied his strengths in board development, and strategic planning for both long established and start-up IRS 501 c (3) entities. He served a number of tax-exempt organizations both as President, CEO, Trustee, Founding Director, and as a Senior Advisor including the Freedom Trial Foundation, Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Cuban Charitable Classics, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston. Mr. Davis received MBA and A.B. degrees from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. His list of professional affiliations included: Trustee, Boston City Hospital; Board of Governors, Harvard Business School Association; Director, Greater Boston Tourist Bureau; President, Advertising Club of Boston; Children's Glaucoma Foundation; Developer, Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum; Trustee Forest Hills Cemetery; The Trinity Group; and assignments in Morocco, Turkey, U.K., Cuba, and Ecuador for various cause marketing charitable initiatives. Mr. Davis will be sorely missed by all members of the N.C.O.F.® family for his many contributions.
